Refractive surgery is the term used to describe laser procedures or intraocular procedures that correct the power of your eye to eliminate your dependence on glasses and/or contact lenses. OR

Refractive Eye Surgery is a non-essential eye surgery performed to correct the refractive state of the eye that eliminate dependency on glasses or contact lenses. Refractive Surgery has various methods of surgical improvements to the cornea. The most common methods we used are lens implantation or lens replacement.

Diagnostics Before Refractive Surgery

Before taking up for any refractive procedure certain tests need to be carried out which include:

• Confirmation of refractive error & examination of retina
• Pachymetry
• Topography
